Our Lady of Pritz Chapel still have some remains of masonry from the Carolingian time.

Built on a cementary from the eraly Middle Ages, it was entrusted to the monks from 'la Couture' of Le Mans, in the begining of the 11th century. It is the first parrish of Laval.

Inside, it hosts a remarkable series of mural paintings from the 11th to the 15th century, visible on the walls of the nave, the transept and the apsidial chapels. The scenes illustrate the works in the fields as a sort of calendar of the months and the the Elders of the Apocalypse.
